The service has to be temporarily suspended
for system maintenance. Therefore, the e-Supplementary Form
will NOT be available for downloading in March each year.
All e-Supplementary Forms should be submitted before the
end of February each year.

Can I use the e-Supplementary Form without
installing the e-Form program?
If the Form Assistant window disappeared,
how can I re-open this?

To re-open the Form Assistant window again,
you can select the "Form Assistant" function under
the "Help" pull-down menu or click the icon
on the tool bar.
You can choose File>Save
or File>Save As from the menu bar or click
the icon on the tool bar. A file dialog box will be displayed
for you to choose the directory path to save the e-Supplementary
Form. You may change the name of the e-Supplementary Form
by over-typing it. Then click "Save".

If I have partly completed the e-Supplementary
Form, can I save it and finish it later?

Do I need to encrypt my completed e-Supplementary
Form when prompted?

You can choose <yes> or <no> when
prompted for encryption. IRD accepts both non-encrypted and
encrypted e-Supplementary Forms.

How can I view my encrypted e-Supplementary
Form if I have chosen to encrypt it using the "Encrypt"
function?

You cannot view the encrypted form if you have
chosen to encrypt it. However, before activating encryption,
the e-Form program will save an additional non-encrypted copy
of the completed e-Supplementary Form. You can view this additional
non-encrypted e-Supplementary Form (see Q13
on location of this form).

Where can I locate my encrypted e-Supplementary
Form in my computer after encryption using the "Encrypt"
command?

You can find it in the "$EFORM/encrypted"
folder, where $EFORM stands for the e-Form program installation
directory.

e-Supplementary Form after saving it using the "Save"

You will find it in the default "$EFORM/saved"
folder, where $EFORM stands for the e-Form program installation
directory. Of course, if you have chosen to save the form
in your own designated folder by overriding the default folder,
you can find it in the folder chosen by you.
When should I print the completed e-Supplementary
Form for submission?

You should print the completed e-Supplementary
Form only AFTER you have saved the form. If you print it
before saving, the system guard will detect it and the printed
copy submitted to the Department will be rejected.
If I choose to submit the printed
copy of the completed Supplementary Form together with the
CD-ROM / DVD-ROM / diskette, how should the CD-ROM / DVD-ROM
/ diskette be identified?

An external label should be affixed to the
CD-ROM / DVD-ROM / diskette showing business name, file
number and the year of assessment.
