Hong Kong signed today (August 22) agreements with six Nordic jurisdictions (namely, Denmark, the Faroes, Greenland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden) respectively, for exchange of information relating to taxes. The Special Representative for Hong Kong Economic and Trade Affairs to the European Union, Ms Linda Lai, signed the agreements in Paris on behalf of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government. Mr Christian Fich, Minister Plenipotentiary of the Embassy of Denmark in Paris (and on behalf of Greenland); Mr Jákup Eyðfinn Kjærbo, Director at the Ministry of Finance in the Faroes; Ms Berglind Ásgeirsdóttir, Ambassador of Iceland to France; Ms Inga M.W. Nyhamar, Chargé d'affaires a.i. of Norway to France; and Mr Martin Rahm, Minister Counsellor of the Embassy of Sweden in Paris, signed on behalf of their respective governments.
