Addition of the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications to Schedule 13 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance

For the purpose of deducting expenses of self-education under section 12(1)(e) of the Inland Revenue Ordinance (Cap. 112), the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications was added to Schedule 13 of the Ordinance with effect from 5 May 2008. Schedule 13 contains a list of institutions which accredits or recognizes training or development courses.

The Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications was established under the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications Ordinance (Cap. 1150).
