When Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or higher is issued, services at our offices will be suspended.  If the warning signal No.8 or higher is issued during business hours, the services will continue until all attending public present have been served.

In the event of the Government issuing the “extreme condition” announcement, the services will continue to be suspended while the announcement is in force.

In general, our services will be resumed in 2 hours after the warning signal No. 8 or “extreme condition” is cancelled.  In case the above warning signal is cancelled within 2 hours before the close of business, services will remain suspended for that day.

Black Rainstorm Warning Signal

If Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is issued outside of business hours, the services will be suspended while the warning signal is in force.  When the warning signal is cancelled, the same service resumption arrangement for Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or higher / “extreme condition” as stated above will be adopted.

If the warning signal is issued during business hours, the services will continue until the close of business.
