Arrangements relating to Application for Business Registration Documents
Latest arrangements to be implemented by the Business Registration Office with effect from 1 November 2021 in relation to application for business registration documents are set out below.
Online application for duplicate of valid business registration certificate
After completing online application for duplicate of valid business registration certificate via GovHK (www.gov.hk/br), the duplicate in PDF format will be available for instant download. Currently, the duplicate is available on the next calendar day.
Application for extract of information of sole proprietorship or partnership on Business Register
To enhance protection of personal data privacy, applicants for extract of information of sole proprietorships or partnerships on the Business Register will be required to provide their particulars and to declare that:
- the information obtained from the application will only be used for activities relating to the purpose stipulated in the Business Registration Ordinance (Cap. 310); and
- the personal data obtained from the application will be used in a manner consistent with the provisions of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486).
